Radio Mango supports business partners with new initiative

Radio Mango sings 'This too shall pass” with their new initiative for business partners. This novel initiative would enable business partners to focus on brand building and business revival without having to worry about their immediate advertisement budget. The package can be consumed in two phases: Phase 1 - Till the lockdown is completely lifted: Brands can advertise on Radio Mango without being billed for the seconds consumed during this period.

Phase 2 - Post Lockdown: Brands can air an equivalent number of seconds as used in Phase 1, and the same can be consumed within a time frame of 4 months. Radio Mango will be billing only the seconds aired in Phase 2, and same will be done at their existing rates.

The special package has been devised to ensure that brands remain on top of the consumer's mind, during the lockdown period, and also help their businesses bounce back once the lockdown is lifted.

The team at Radio Mango believes that these tough times will pass and the light at the end of the tunnel will be visible soon.

The current crisis got the team thinking on what they as a media house could do for the business partners who have been affected in a similar manner across the country.

The team also found that the business community is facing almost the same issues across all segments

1) Business houses have had to shut shop for more than two weeks now, and they do not know for how long this situation will continue. This means no income or reduced income, with the fixed overheads continuing.

2) Brands could drop off from being on the top of the mind of their consumers, forcing them to spend on brand building along with the topical campaigns once the situation returns to normalcy.

3) Slow down in business means having to be very prudent with the spends. Advertisement campaigns even though essential to keep the brand alive in the consumer’s minds, is viewed as an avoidable expenditure in the current scenario.

The Radio Mango package seems to be an answer to the above issues that the business community is facing, the package addresses all the above concerns.

They strongly believe that it is their responsibility, to stand by the business community, in these challenging times.

    In Thailand, the drivers of the 21 million motorbikes – the main form of transportation in most cities and a leading cause of transport-related carbon dioxide emissions – now have a new role to play in the fight against climate change.   Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL), the world’s largest energy service company, today announced it will invest in SWAG EV, an emerging e-mobility player to drive the use of electric motorbikes while contributing to increasing power grid flexibility. This concept of convergence - the integration of electric mobility, battery storage, renewable energy generation and carbon finance - has the power to provide clean, reliable and affordable energy, and catalyse an energy transformation in Southeast Asia.   By using e-bikes with swappable batteries, most of which will be charged by solar power, they can drive the transformation to healthier cities while fighting climate change. ‘Batteries on wheels’ create an overlap between e-mobility, solar energy battery storage and a more flexible power grid. The e-bike batteries will increase the capacity of the power grid to incorporate a higher share of renewable energy in its energy mix and trigger decarbonization in Thailand. This concept is replicable across the world and this project will serve as the basis for implementation in India.   EESL is a pioneer in driving the concept of convergence in its key markets – India and Southeast Asia. As one of the world's largest public energy service companies, owned by the largest public sector enterprise in the Indian power sector, EESL has invested in SWAG EV, an emerging actor ushering in the two-wheeled e-mobility transformation in Southeast Asia.   EESL’s initial US$5 million investment was conceptualized by SHIFT Asia, a carbon finance platform designed and operated by South Pole to mobilize climate finance for e-mobility. In addition to its investment, SHIFT Asia will co-fund the e-bike charging infrastructure in designated service areas and support EESL in financing shared batteries; all to make battery swapping and charging simple and convenient.   A major mid-term goal of the SHIFT platform is to use these batteries in their second life as a distributed renewable energy storage facility, providing the Thai energy grid with the flexibility to manage a higher share of variable renewable energy.       After the culmination of two successful seasons, Poker Sports League is returning in a new avatar as Poker Sports League - Virtual (PSL-V). With its online qualifiers beginning from October 23, the league will go on for two months in a virtual format with 2-3 matches per week. To be part of PSL-V, the poker enthusiasts can register on the company’s proprietary mobile application – Hashtag Poker.     In Thailand, the drivers of the 21 million motorbikes – the main form of transportation in most cities and a leading cause of transport-related carbon dioxide emissions – now have a new role to play in the fight against climate change.   Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL), the world’s largest energy service company, today announced it will invest in SWAG EV, an emerging e-mobility player to drive the use of electric motorbikes while contributing to increasing power grid flexibility. This concept of convergence - the integration of electric mobility, battery storage, renewable energy generation and carbon finance - has the power to provide clean, reliable and affordable energy, and catalyse an energy transformation in Southeast Asia.   By using e-bikes with swappable batteries, most of which will be charged by solar power, they can drive the transformation to healthier cities while fighting climate change. ‘Batteries on wheels’ create an overlap between e-mobility, solar energy battery storage and a more flexible power grid. The e-bike batteries will increase the capacity of the power grid to incorporate a higher share of renewable energy in its energy mix and trigger decarbonization in Thailand. This concept is replicable across the world and this project will serve as the basis for implementation in India.   EESL is a pioneer in driving the concept of convergence in its key markets – India and Southeast Asia. As one of the world's largest public energy service companies, owned by the largest public sector enterprise in the Indian power sector, EESL has invested in SWAG EV, an emerging actor ushering in the two-wheeled e-mobility transformation in Southeast Asia.   EESL’s initial US$5 million investment was conceptualized by SHIFT Asia, a carbon finance platform designed and operated by South Pole to mobilize climate finance for e-mobility. In addition to its investment, SHIFT Asia will co-fund the e-bike charging infrastructure in designated service areas and support EESL in financing shared batteries; all to make battery swapping and charging simple and convenient.   A major mid-term goal of the SHIFT platform is to use these batteries in their second life as a distributed renewable energy storage facility, providing the Thai energy grid with the flexibility to manage a higher share of variable renewable energy. They will be charged during the day with solar power (when electricity demand is low), and discharged during the evening power peak hours, when there is more demand than supply of electricity.   Charging stations located in factories with solar roofs will also be able to store and release surplus solar power.  This system helps Thai utility companies increase the flexibility of the power grid, both in terms of managing variable renewable energy generation and reducing the load on the grid during peak hours.   Saurabh Kumar, Executive Vice Chairperson of EESL Group Companies: “As the power sector across the world deals with more renewable energy, and electric mobility takes off, it is  essential that we, as key stakeholders, join forces and enable a clean, green, and electric future for better public health and quality of life – for ourselves and coming generations. Hungama Play launches ‘Love ka Panga’, a new Hindi original romantic comedy show starring Asha Negi and Ansh Bagri

    Hungama Play, a leading video on demand platform owned by Hungama Digital Media, today launched ‘Love ka Panga’, a new Hungama Original. A romantic comedy starring popular actors, Asha Negi and Ansh Bagri, the show is shot in the scenic mountains of Manali and is a hilarious take on modern day love and romance. The story revolves around a modern city girl who wants to enjoy a peaceful holiday, a desi munda who thinks he’s the coolest dude on earth, and a series of chance encounters that change their lives. Produced by ABUZS Original, the show is directed by Nitesh Singh.   Neha (Asha Negi), a sophisticated, well-educated Delhi girl on her first solo trip to Manali plans to enjoy a quiet holiday in the beautiful mountains. Sumit (Ansh Bagri), on the other hand, a loud desi Haryanvi chhora, intends to live it up and make the most of his time. When a series of unplanned encounters bring them together, their respective plans go for a toss. He thinks he is being helpful but she considers him a chep. He thinks she has too much attitude and she thinks all he needs is a chamaat. However, somewhere between all the misunderstandings, they form a friendship that could blossom into something else. But does it lead to their happy ending? Can they overcome their differences?
